I hope it won't go bang at the first ride,a 252.25cc Rapido can never be famous for reliability
I forgot to say that I'll run it with a single piston ring
Excuse me,the conrod is 110mm not 100mm :)

It would be good if you could let us see a video of the first start up.

I can't help wonder if you are likely to encounter heat issues with the tailpipe size. Perhaps I've misunderstood, but if it is only Ø20 mm bore, I doubt that's adequate for the rest of your set-up.

God Luck with it though!

I trust Mr.Gori for his tailpipe diameter decisions :o :)

Earlier I matched the u-bend to the cylinder.

I took again measurements from this u-bend.

U-bend max diameter : O/D 55.20mm I/D 52.50mm
Tailpipe diameter : O/D 22.20mm I/D 19.85mm

Main Box entry diameter : O/D 58.50mm I/D 55.60mm

Everything depends upon the state of tune & your riding style. My conscience is relieved that I've made you aware.

I'm fairly certain that sustained flat out riding with something that should deliver 25 plus bhp @ the back wheel would result in a build up of heat on a bleed anything less than Ø 25 mm (especially using pump fuel rather than Avgas) if I were to ride it as precisely that occured before I learnt my lesson. It was Ø 22 mm to be precise, based upon calculations, of course!

Thank you for the valuable input ;)
If something goes wrong,I have a spare 72.5mm piston,I'll cut the exhaust, open it and fabricate a larger diameter tailpipe.

Engine is on the frame now.

Few gentle first run revs,
I run it without the tailpipe endcan,I don't like the look of it,I'll keep it only for the MOT.

So what's it like on the road dimitrios?

I'm really interested in the gp50 for my ts1.

I'm happy with it,
can't compare it with another exhaust as I had done extra work on the cylinder plus I changed the gearing (to shorter) before I use the GP50.
