Was changing some cables for a mate today and happened to look at rear tyre , a raceman it was out of shape and blebbing on about a third to half. I stripped it from the rim and on the inside you could see how the outer has delaminated from the inner.
tyre was on the bike when he bought it and was getting close to the tread marker. It was fine before C2C and tyre pressures are always checked. Fortunately bike hasn't be used since.

just goes to show the need to check tyres before during and after a journey as these problems can arise very quickly.
