Hi guys , looking through my bits and just wondering what an original 125 special barrel head piston inlet and carb would be worth ???? Any ideas

Whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

Ballpark, I'd say £30-50, 125s are slow and not all that sought after. You might get more hits trying to sel the inlet and carb separately.

Stick it on eBay and it will find its level.

Quite a nice bit of kit for a learner legal 125. The 125 Special had different porting from a standard Li 125. The head had a central squish. The carb was a Sh1/20. The 125 DL/GP had the same engine. Depending on condition of course I’d say all in closer to £100 but not an easy market bearing in mind many 125 learner legal bikes are anything but!

Cheers for the reply’s chaps

Yeah that’s why I have it sat in the garage , not to be learner legal but because I rode big bikes for ages and the 125 didn’t have enough go for me , I was wondering on prices as I knew they were different to standard 125 layout and they sometimes get asked for on here , got a few bits to go through and then figure out what to do with them
