kick start shaft

Postby kennystag » Thu Aug 30, 2018 1:35 pm

Hi All,
I fitted new kick start shaft, spring, bushes, reference pin kit, when I fit the oil seal there is no room for the shim and circlip to fit in the grove in the casing, the new bushes are flush in the casing, how can I rectify this problem.
Cheers

Hi Kenny.

I sent you an e-mail reply.

(Sounds like you have a late kickstart shaft with an early case)

There is a 'fix' should that be the situation...... ;)

I know it does not fit into the case. A senior moment. Thanks Mark, I will have a look @ your email.
