Yes, unfortunately but the buzzwangle will show how many degrees you are out.

I don’t think it was anything more than it was a nice word, like “thing-a-me-Bob” or a “ogee-me-flip”.

Sticky is a bit like that.

I used mine again today. It really is a clever bit of kit.

I think I must be missing something, but I would have thought to use the buzzwangle accurately you would need to make sure your engine would need to be perpendicular

The flywheel needs to be vertical for it to work. As long as the centre-line of the crank is horizontal, then the Buzzwangle will work.

Knowledge isn't far off, working with Sam from TSR I was just reeling off a load of stupid names off the top of my head and Buzzwangle kinda stuck.

This had several great results:

1. When it comes to making a website then its great to have a nonsense word because http://www.buzzwangle.com was available and it was quickly #1 on google when you search for 'Buzzwangle'
2. Its a bit of an annoying name but you don't forget it. If you mention Buzzwangle now then people either know what it is or they don't.
3. Before going with it I had to look up the word to see if it meant something. It's actually a nonsense word that Roald Dahl coined for which the definition is "buzzwangle (noun) – a silly or far-fetched idea". It couldn't be more perfect.

The odd thing is that I don't remember reading or seeing anything by Roald Dahl prior to that. It just popped into my head on its own. The universe clearly meant it to be...

Anyway, those that own them love them. Those that think they are too expensive should cost making the CNC tool, give up and get a relative to buy them one for Xmas or a birthday.

I'm sure there are stick-in-the-mud tuners out there still removing engine mounts to fit degree discs the size of a Ferris wheel just so they can be accurate to half a degree on port timings. Or you could pop this into the flywheel and measure to 0.2 of a degree...

Brilliant bit of kit, once you use one you wonder how you managed before, saves loads of time, great for setting timing or measuring port durationc

I use one to measure the angle of my erections pre and post viagra use. Unfortunately I can’t get it to buzz on my wangle or it would be the perfect product.

To be clear, that isnt the Buzzwangle, that one is just the cheap inclanometer others have mentioned plus a push in bracket for it to sit on. I have one of those brackets and whilst it does sort of work, its not vey secure and no good at all for measuring port timings.

My in laws bought me a Buzzwangle last year and the two dont compare 8-)
