Hi all,

What would be the signs of a failed condenser be?

It kinda depends on how it's failed or is failing.
Very often the ignition is fine on a cold motor but will act up when warm as the heat of the engine affects the electrolyte in the capacitor(condenser)
Excessive arcing across the points is another sign.
Best just change it to be sure.

Thanks for the reply, excessive arching sounds about right, looks like someone's arc welding in there, ill have to brave the cold and change it. Lol.
