Postby gp200ts1 » Sun Dec 02, 2018 12:19 pm

just finished my prototype brake skimming tool using a lidl cordless dremmel type thing. can't go any further until the cutters arrived as I've managed to misplace the one I had.

I like that, nice and simple. What type of cutter are you going to use?

I likes the idea with that m8
Be interesting when used how your rear brake is?

Any chance of some added picture of it minus rotary tool ;-)

It’s the dremmel drywall/plastic cutter. It’s the only decent cutting tool they do with the required length.

I’ve used it but due to dust worries and asbestos I’ve skimmed a set of makino brand shoes. It definitely took more off one shoe than the other. I’ve put it all back together but as I work away in the week and due to the fact it was pissing down all weekend I haven’t had a chance to test it. Hopefully the weather will be ok Sunday and I’ll be able to road test the brake.
