I have a TV175 engine i wish to upgrade the crank and ignition , Where can i buy a Tameni/Mec / maz crank 58x116 with a GP taper from off the shelf ?

Glasgow Lambretta did have them

I think Darrell Taylor does them. I think it's him. I always get my Taylor's mixed up.

It is. I got just got a 60 x 115 from him for not a lot. About 150 if I recall.

Think SIP do a 58/116 at a reasonable price

I couldn't find a MEC one when doing my build.
I went for a SIP one in the end. It seemed a nice piece of kit.

It's probably over a year now since Tameni produced any 58 x 116 cranks with GP taper. For months they produced nothing as they were moving premises and may have changed owners somewhere in the process. Since they restarted production they've only produced 58 x 107 GP but the last few weeks they've added a couple of other crank sizes including 58 x 116, alas in original TV thin taper. The Sip one appears great quality but you'll save money using one of the good crank builders such as Darrell Taylor, Harry Barlow, Martin Cook, Darren Scott, et al.
