PWK 24 Carburettor

Postby ToBoldlyGo » Mon Apr 22, 2019 9:44 pm

I've just rediscovered a carb I bought ages ago. It's a YSN PWK 24 complete with powerjet. I must have had something in mind for it, but whatever it was I've long moved on from that. The thing is are they any good? I've had a good look at it and in some ways it looks simpler than the Dell'orto's and wonder if that is reflected in the setting up?

Easy to set up and very nice carbs. I have been running bigger versions for about 12 years. Lots of spares available. Best carbs I've used.

Interesting. I'll have to find a use for it. How do people run them, open mouthed, with an elbow through an airbox, or a remote filter?

I used a tesco stainless steel tea strainer for years.

Now using a breath easy and foam filter since converting to reed valve induction.
