Outboard hydraulic disc brake

The lug on the fork link on my S2 (drum type) only just sits inside the speedo housing on the disc, at the most only engaged about half way in. I’ve stripped down and checked and there is no way I can adjust it further over as everything is as far to that side as possible. I have the same set up on my GP that’s much further engaged, anyone a similar experience or see any issues.
