defying gravity

Postby mickey c » Wed May 13, 2020 8:27 am

Hi all
I hope everyone is ok!
Can I ask what I imagine is something of a divvy question BUT does it matter that my fuel pipe spends more time going uphill than downhill? I've never used a 23 mm dellorto previously but to get to the inlet on the carb (and avoid fouling on the throttle cable), from the fuel tap on the petrol tank the petrol pipe goes 'downhill' a bit, under the engine bolt then under the carb itself and then up all the way to the top of the carb where the inlet to the float bowl is.
i'm hoping / imagining there's quite a lot of suction to pull the petrol but it just looks weird! Am I worrying about something I need bother worrying about?
thanks in advance for any replies

As long as it is under the petrol tank it shouldn't matter.
