Front hub oil seals replacement

Postby Granty » Fri May 14, 2021 10:41 pm

Evening Guys -- on the S1 resto again, doing some shakedown miles and notice i have some grease escaping from the front hub oil seals -- bearings are good, running smooth as so guess it's just the seals that need replacing? Is this an easy job and can it be done with the spindle in place or best just to knock it out? Any specialist tools required? Cheers G

It's is easier with the spindle out, but having said that I have never tried with it in. Use a suitable size socket to drift the inner seal in.
