idle screw not responding at all?

Hi all
running in rt195 with 30mm delorto af 42mm exhaust.
all going well for 200miles until sound canged and ran badly. eventually stopped running. kicked a few times and off again. got home (just) so too k a look.
very oily plug (too rich) while adjusting carb I noticed the idle screw had no effect at all??
can anyone help?

Tickover screw or the idle fuel adjuster ?
Also what about the choke adjustment??

the idle screw, NOT fuel air mix screw.
what do you mean what about choke ?
thats always worked fine since the build.
is that a possibility then for unresponsive idle (tick over) screw?

Sticking choke can cause more problems so it’s always best too rule it out first before continuing on. I find it strange that the tickover screw is doing nothing even when fully wound in, has the throttle cable stretched or jump out of its holder up in the head set. Gotta rule out all the silly little things before continuing on.

Hi yes, checked and tightened throttle cable.
havent checked choke because like I said it always seemed fine, there is usually a definate difference in sound when the choke is on but will check.
