I can’t remembered it being this difficult!
I can’t get the pedal past the spring. Not sure how I can get the pedal on.

2 from me ;
1. Ive had a duff stainless spring ..struggled with it then compared to an old one......ended up in bin
2. If spring correct then I put a tie wrap round the spring to pull it down
Item 1 might be the key.....

Cheers Gaz.
I’ve been using an exhaust spring puller to pull the spring down, but it stops the pedal fitting the lug.
I’ll order another (once I remember where I ordered it from).

Might be a S3 spring and a S1 or 2 pedal. I had the same problem and needed a S1 spring

I also use a loop of cable tie to fit the spring onto the fully-fitted brake pedal. In fact it is still on there because it is trapped. I don’t see this as a problem.
