Can someone please confirm that the worm drive inside a Vegila speedo is black for MPH and silver for KM?

Otherwise they're the same (except for the face plate of course!)

Since posting a good friend and mentor has shared the following with me. I'm posting it here as it may be of use to others in the future.

KPH - Odometer wheel has flat helical teeth, drive pinion gear made from white plastic
MPH - Odometer wheel has tall straight teeth, drive pinion gear made from black steel

I think there may be some differences between early and late Veglia speedos too, so it is possible that earlier KPH speedos had a metal drive pinion.
