As you can see below, the Brazilian SX shape headlight rim is quite different to the Italian.

The holes to attach it to the headset do marry up. But, has anyone successfully fitted one to a CEV type reflector? If so, how please?

It can be done, as the picture below shows, but you might have to braze on 2 mounting lugs. I'd reach out to Marco at RLC and ask him for suggestions.

No need to apologise, what you do with your own rim is entirely up to you!

Having swapped emails with RLC, it appears that the rim they fitted was different and fitted with a spring.

I did message Lambretta Ecke in Brazil and they did reply a few times. I suspect that a lot of the meaning was lost in my use of Google translate so I never really got to the bottom of this headlight rim. Their last response translated as:

“ For the lambretta models that came to Brazil in 59,60,61,62,63 they are Italian-made. And the reflectors are equally on models manufactured in Brazil after 63” I think they are saying that Italian and Brazilian reflectors are the same.

But, then again, I am unsure :P
