CEV speedo faceplates and backplates
Posted: Wed Jan 19, 2022 12:36 amDoes anyone know if early Series 3 CEV speedo faceplates and backplates have been remade? Or can point me to a source of NOS / non-yellowed used ones? I'm particularly interested in a couple of backplates. As many of you know they have different mounting points to Veglia ones.
Alternatively, does anyone have any tips for converting reproduction S3 Veglia backplates to work in CEV speedos? Is it as simple as drilling new mounting holes? Or does the cut out for the base of the needle also need to be enlarged?
