Due to my speedometer not working correctly I decided to investigate.
I had to pull the worm small gear out of my disk brake I saw extreme wear on the worm.
Due to this I decided to strip out my disk brake and replace every worn part
My brake disc had already previously had the three holes enlarged and the circlip removed. in fact the disc is very loose on the three location pins.
But I cannot split the two halfs I suspect that the speedo worm gear has broken and is jamming the removal of the two parts.
I have tried using a soft punch hitting the back of the brake disc, does not work.
Any idea how to split the two pieces?

Have you taken the spindle out?

Have removed the spindle, oil seal and one bearing.
According to Stickys book I have used a block of wood to hit the thick part of the brake disc.
The brake disc is loose on the location pins!!!

Possibly the rubber seal was snagged when the hub was put together. If it is ripped it may well be catching as you try to separate the hub.

I have managed to separate the two halves by using a piece of wood and a lump hammer.
The problem was the speedo gear had broken up jamming the disc.
