Replacing Plunger Seals in Nissin Hydraulic Reservior

My reservoir seems to be leaking brake fluid from the rubber round the plunger that gets pushed in by the lever ... I've got a replacement seal pack but have no idea on best way to tackle this. Has anyone completed the same task and has any tips or steps to complete the job? Many thanks -- G.

Aren't they identical to steel-framed Honda CBR600 from the 90s? If so, you used to get a rebuild kit for very little money which included the piston with new seals already fitted. Took a couple of minutes to fit.
