Rear wheel removal Series 2

here is a pic of my mod, I just made a new hook and welded a bit of bar on and drilled and bolted on

you could trim the corner off your mud guard aswell

At last, excellent pics & a similar idea to what I was thinking. Thanks for taking the trouble to sort out the pics, nice one a-team.
I assume it does make enough difference to make it a useful mod?! :)

That top picture looks identical to the mod I made. And yes, as I posted earlier, with the bracket unbolted the wheel with a fully inflated tyre comes off and goes on very easily.

You can see the rear view of mine in this pic. Bracket cut in half, a strip of metal drilled in two places sits in the channel. Bingo. Ignore the plate brackets!

Bracket Method used -- spent hours trying to get the rear wheel on but thought hold on, what if I'm at the side of the road, what am I going to do ------------- nothing more for it -- get the dremmell. Job done -- should have done it hours ago - G

I have decided to bite the bullet,today I have cut about 1/2" from the inside panel clip on this side.The wheel comes off and goes back on without a problem and you dont have to remove any air.The panel still fastens as normal.
