Postby gaz_powell » Wed Jun 18, 2014 8:45 pm

Can someone kindly remind me how to connect an external battery to sorts lights out without having to start the bike.

Simplified electronic harness, standard cdi/regulator set up.

Use a battery charger if you have one..negative croc clip to the Frame and red clip to the brown (normally) once taken out of regulator...

Remember if you are using a car/motorcycle battery that you should have an inline fuse between battery and your loom....

You have the potential to melt your loom if you accidently create a short while you are working on it... A charger has a current limiter built in...
