You don't really need one because you are just reconnecting to another headlamp unit, you may get the dip and main mixed up but that's all.

I've heard about these do they do them for Li 125/150 round type or SX only?

Exactly, you are doing a direct replacement of three wires from your old headlamp to three for the new one.

No, they do them for all models except the GP mate.

i mean for the wires from the headlight, they don't match the existing headlight & i don't want to blow the bulbs?

Take the two wires going to the headlight bulb connector, might be blue and red and connect to the two wires to the JB unit. You may get these the wrong way around to start with but no harm will be done just swoop them over. The wire to the parking/side light goes to the new unit side light and the earth goes to earth. There is really nothing to it.

I think you must have a combined headlight bulb holder with festoon sidelight and connection block.
In that case it's a little bit more involved. Basically you need to loose the bulb holder and connection block. If it's an LI or special you will be a bit tight for room anyway. If you look at the lamp holder you will have several colours in cluster linked together eg all the Browns greens purples etc. the blue and the red feed dip and full beam with whatever colour going to the festoon bulb. That's your rubber morning mounted sidelight bulb the other end goes to earth. You can get some connectors called wago connectors with little orange locking levers. They come in 2,3,4,5 connectors the most you will normally have is 3 connected together. Cut the old bullets off cut 10mm or so sheathing off and stuff it in a hole pushing the lever down to lock it in. I would tin the wire with solder first. Never had one come loose in use but you can lift the lever to remove something and reuse. It's worth doing as the light is 1st class.

 Unfortunately Coaster it's not my machine I just found the picture on the net and saved it for future reference .
It looks a good bit of kit and I liked the look of the new scotch blocks .
I will add it to the list of upgrades ,with all the "tinkering " I wonder if I'll get any riding in. ;)

I'm no electrical wizard but if it were me I'd try wiring the brown to the yellow (side light) and connect the black along with whichever one of the other 3 wires you've worked out aren't main or dipped (red and blue) to earth.

There's instructions on Jockeys website

Belegung: The wires:

weiß = Abblendlicht white = low beam

grün = Masse green = earth

blau = Fernlicht blue = high beam

braun = Stand-/Stadtlicht brown= city light

schwarz = Masse black = earth

Hi,just bought one of these for my LIS,does anyone have any fitting instructions.I get the wiri g but its the actual mounting of the light im not sure of,I have a ring and some other bits, including an oval junction block(probably going to use Wagos rather than this block, just to save room)
Any help appreciated,thanks.

You have to bend the lugs on the ring (2 pairs of pliers work) to match up with the bolt holes on the light from memory. Think Dog leg type bend. Bit of a faff but once you’ve got your head round it, straight forward.
