J range front axle spacer

I am aware that there's not a lot of response to J range questions on the forum but would anyone happen to know the length of the distance piece of a J range front axle. I have a vega one that is too short and series 3 one that looks to long.

any help or suggestion will be gratefully received as its taken me a month now to do a 1 hour front hub rebuild
