Hi, I'm hoping to fit a rear brake light switch to the lui that I'm soon to purchase as I'm aware they weren't originally fitted with one as standard & my question is what's my best option to enable a live feed to the switch? thanks in advance regards Darren

In theory it should be pretty simple, the only problem is the monocoque frame. You need to run a wire from the live feed of the rectifier/connection block to the stop light switch then a wire from the switching to the back light which then needs an earth (unless the light unit has a combined earth). Now I'm no expert on the J range but to save any myther an inline brake light switch on the back brake cable (like the std front one) may make things easier

You may find the Lui stator lacking in power to run a brake light , better to convert to Vega spec or fit an electronic kit and loom.
