Hi all
I'm nearing the end of a very long Vega project and bought these as what I believed to be very hard to find headlight springs.




they look a bit like the metal loops to keep control cables tidy in big lambretta headset but with only 1 loop there is no way I can se to attach them. Equally they did say they were for the headlight?
does anyone know / have any pointers of where / how they fit please?

I want my Christmas present to myself to be able to rag it down the road!

The clips fit between the lower headset and the handlebars where the two Allen screws are, when fitted correctly they push against the plate fastened to the rear of the headlight to put it under tension against the two headlight screws. Looking at your pic that is the way to fit them, top one on left hand side when facing the headlight.

I would never have guessed that or worked it out in a million years.
I've Now got the choice of taking the handlebars apart (or hopefully only losening them) or wrapping Christmas presents this evening?
