Headlight re silvering recommendation

I read on another thread that some firms will carefully separate headlight glass from the reflector and re silver this, therefore improving lighting.
I have googled and found a few firms offering this service, can anyone recommend 1 please?
Also, given the time of year & kids presents emptying my bank account, how much (approx) was it?
I'm wanting to have a Vega headlight re silvered and so a little worried that damage in the post or the process will be expensive. Equally if it will cost more than a new headlight, is it worth it? Or is the re-silvering process hugely improved over a brand new standard light?
