Hi I've seen on various sights that the Gp headlight Bulbholder is the same as the vega just bought one but it doesn't fit previous threads say there are two types can any one shed any light on this problem thanks

I don't know if there are 2 types of GP bulb holder but would guess so, probably more.
There are 2 types of Vega headlight however, only 1 of which I understand is compatable with a GP bulb holder.
Mine is although it didn't appear so at 1st. I think I have the CEV headlight but will check later & report back.

Hi Bruce, GP type block goes with CEV unit. The Aprillia one uses a brown bakealite/ hard plastic style block. hope this helps...Steve

Trotsky really knows his stuff and I'll only confirm his answer by adding that a GP bulb holder fitted my CEV headlight (checked it is earlier) when I found out which way round to put it!

I'm not sure but I may have a very good Aprilla bulb holder somewhere if interested?
