1955 Model D150 - Wiring loom routing

Postby Big Al » Wed Oct 02, 2019 4:07 pm

Can anyone explain how and where a new wiring loom should be routed on a bare frame please?
Is it best done before the engine is installed, or afterwards?

Assuming the wiring loom on the D is very similar to the LD, it must be installed before the engine is fitted, as a section of the loom passes underneath the engine, on the upper side of the frame member! Control cable routing is less of an issue, maybe easier to fit some cables before the legshields are fitted.
