Compression ratio LD150 1957

Hi people,

Whats a good compression ratio for an LD150?? Thanks!

From the factory, the LD150 CR is nominally 6.5:1. It's possible to skim the head and remove the head gasket to increase the CR, but as the combustion chamber is a very primitive shape, with no squish area, too high a CR could well lead to detonation of the fuel/air mixture. I'd keep it below 7.5:1, and maybe use a higher octane fuel as well.

You can fit a squish head. I modified a GP/DL 125 head to fit.
