If your wanting something different with two coasts to coasts with loads of coast then consider the ULC Wild Atlantic Way.

Ballina Co Mayo. August 23rd to 25th.

Fri - Ballina to Ardara - 161 miles.
Sat - Ardara to Buncranna - 139 miles.
Sun - Buncranna to Cushendall 145 miles

Attendees can choose to stay over in Cushendall go home early boats Monday, or head to Larne 24 miles, or Belfast 50 miles and go home Sunday.

Would have liked to do c2c but not going to get upset over it, I’ll look forward to Scarborough instead now :D

Regarding the Wild Atlantic Way, i will be doing an 7 or 8 day version at the same time as the official one so may see a few of you there.

Hi Steve

It's a weekend event based at Derby rugby club with a 150 ish mile ride around Derbyshire on Saturday.
I try and find some scenic/interesting/challenging roads to ride.
Cheers

both previous derby 150,s have been really enjoyable. with a good start/finish base and some well chosen mixed roads, nothing too difficult but challenging enough to justify a celebratory bbq and pint at the end. I can strongly recommend this event and will be back for a third go.

^ The Abbey Arms, eh?

Since our last visit, there has been a fire and a change of landlord/manager. However, with prices from £1.50 for a pint of mild, and £3.05 for a premium lager (2017 prices), it is worth checking to see if things have changed.

Hello can I ask the reason for the C2c being omitted from the BSM this year?

Not a happy bunny ☹️

I'm a big fan of the C2C and expressed my disappointment at this year events list (not to forcibly....it is what is !).
I would have welcomed another C2C but appreciate that if it was done every year the flavour of it would slightly tarnish.......now i'm looking forward to next year's C2C which i hope will be on the agenda.
