I have just finished planning the route but we like to keep it as a surprise for those riding it. It will go up through the Derbyshire Peaks and the midpoint will be Castleton as usual.

What time does the site open tomorrow please? I know it was on the bit of paper with the ticket but the wife has filed that in the recycling

Ok thanks Paul hope you got things dried out and enjoyed the route today. Once I got in from work opted for the push bike instead.

Thanks for your reply though.

Thankfully, Saturday was dry and sunny so everything dried out during the day. This gave me the luxury of being able to sleep in a sleeping bag on Saturday night :P

Bad luck Paul. You really got drenched on Friday.

Did you do the route?

Most of it, Martin. We came back our own way from Castleton though. I have been up and down the Snake Pass so many times over the years, I wasn’t heartbroken to miss that bit out.
