3 Lambretta's from the LCGB/BSSO Production class took 1st, 2nd and 3rd position at the UK's first endurance test, after 6hrs on track the RB20 kitted production class specification scooters took the top 3 honours in the race class and overall, closely followed by SLUK UK's Vespa small frame team (the scooter not the team) who won the road class finishing 4th overall.
The event run by the newly formed British Scooter Endurance Club (BESC) was a resounding success, with a good turnout both on the track and off of LCGB participants as well as teams from Europe and Ireland.
Here's a few pics and links relating to the Teesside 6!

Brilliant event. Something anybody can try. A few mates together for not a lot of money can have alot of track time. We’ve all got plenty a spares laid about to build a cheap team bike. You don’t need a fully race prepped bike to be competitive in your desired class. Just a very good plan and of course reliability helps. I’m for one looking forward to the next one.

Even as a spectator this was an exciting event. So glad we got to sponsor this event and be able to play a minor part in a great weekend of Scooter Sport.

Good grief! how did we survive a 12 hour Snetterton reliability trial with two riders, in November and through the night together with the fact most riders rode their scooters there.

Well I must apologise and bow to your superhero scooter riding powers.

Something to do with riders being 20 years old not 50.
Top speeds in the 60s not 90s
Low cornering speeds due to crap tyres
Snetterton is a big circuit with few corners, Langbar is a kart circuit with loads of corners.
I loved it. I wish I could have had a passout to make a fool of myself on the circuit but Mrs. Miller says no.

Yeah I’d hazard a guess the average rider age on circuit would have been mid 40’s. Most of whom i spoke to where all in the same boat for a couple of days.
Your correct Rob there wasn’t much sitting down involved , just the back straight really.

Maybe you can work on mrs Miller for the next one lol. Saying something like it’s in the title endurance, we won’t be going very fast
