Like to say a big thanks to Scooternova for organising a brilliant event. Enjoyed it immensely and was great to get out after the scootering wilderness we’ve had to endure. Good to see friends and meet new ones too (Martin!). A great evening in the Bridge rounded off a great day!
Thanks again Scooternova!

Another thank you from me although I didn't manage to complete. Started at the windmill at Heage having ridden down from Leek. I made the fatal error of thinking to myself how we'll the scooter was running. Riding through the lanes near Calke Abbey when it cut out. Thinking I needed to go on to reserve no had fuel had a spark stripped down carb nothing blocked tried bump starting no sign of life. A local walking his dog stopped us and told us stories of his Lambretta ownership in his youth. But he also said you couldn't have broken doing a better spot push it back to the top of the hill and you will see a sign for the milking parlour a micro brewery which has set up serving outside. Not a bad spot to spend Saturday afternoon while I waited for my son to come to the rescue with his van.

Saturday was great, so did the ride again on not just as sunny Sunday! Brilliant to finally get a chance to talk scooters with mates at petrol stations and in the pub both nights!

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone who took part in the ScooterNova magazine Three Shires Ride.
Not only was it great to see so many people from all over the country enjoying the ride and catching up with others after so long (photo points, petrol stations etc, all at a safe social distance), but together we managed to raise over £1000 for the Air Ambulance Charity!
To everyone who has asked, yes we have further events planned, both similar and another along the same vein but slightly different. Any future events will of course depend on Covid of course and space in the scooter calendar.
So until the next time, thank you one and all again and glad so many enjoyed the ride!

Cheers, Andy (ScooterNova magazine)

For all those who took part in the first ScooterNova Three Shires Ride (in aid of local Air Ambulance), here for your pleasure is a reminder of the ride, and of course also for those who didn't go, here is what you missed out on! ;-)

A review will also appear in the new edition 26 of ScooterNova magazine. http://www.scooternova.com
