Shipston accommodation recommendations

Postby Knowledge » Fri Jun 18, 2021 7:30 pm

Hi.

I am thinking of spending a couple of days at Shipston on Stour. When the LCGB rallies at Shipston I camped, but I know others stayed in hotels, pubs and B&B’s.

Has anyone got any recommendations?

The George is nice.
Not cheap but nice.
We & the Allins have stayed there 5 or 6 times over the years.

I think (it's all a bit hazy) that I stopped in The Falcon. Plenty of old world charm (ie slopping floors etc).

Thanks all.

I checked some of those recommendations but rooms were often double beds. However, I have now run out of opportunities to visit the town with friends due to other commitments.

Bugger.
