Ambleside Ride out route info

Please find below the ride out route for Saturday at our members rally at Ambleside , this will depart the rugby club at 11am

Ambleside ride-out route
Left out of rugby club and 1st left following ‘Coniston A593, Langdale (B5343)’ -> Keep left over bridge and follow A593 through CONISTON & TORVER -> after 16 miles, follow road round to left into BROUGHTON.
At T-junction head towards right-hand corner of the square down MARKET STREET and carry on along C5009 to junction with A595.
Turn left at junction following ‘Barrow, Lancaster A595’ -> along A595 into GRIZEBECK and follow ‘Kendal, Lancaster A5092, (A590), Ulverston (B5281), Greenodd’ to the Greenodd Roundabout.
Take the 1st exit (Left) following ‘(M6), Kendal, Newby Bridge, A590’ and for 3.8 miles to the Lakeland Motor Museum which is the half-way signing on point.
Continue along A590 for 1 mile to the Newby Bridge roundabout and take the 1st exit (left) following ‘Bowness, Windermere A592’ -> follow A592 for 7.5 miles into BOWNESS-on-WINDERMERE -> @ roundabout in centre of Bowness, take the 1st exit (Left) following ‘Ambleside, Kendal, (A591), Keswick, Motorway (M6)’ -> follow A591/Rayrigg Road for 1.5 miles to mini-roundabout and take the 1st exit (Left) following ‘Ambleside, Grasmere, Keswick, A591’.
Follow A591 for 3.2 miles and @ lights bear left following ‘Keswick (A591, Coniston, Langdale (A593)’ -> follow A593 for 0.5 miles and the rugby club will be on your left.
THERE IS PETROL AT CONISTON, BROUGHTON AND GRIZEBECK.
YOU WILL NEED TO PAY TO GO IN THE MOTOR MUSEUM BUT YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY TO GO IN THE CAFÉ AT THE MUSEUM.
