our route is only 101 miles and features as many bends as possible
our brekkie stop at a greasy spoon near Burbage, dispite the name there were no greebos in sight!
we made steady progress till Chipping Norton where Brian was suffering a loss of power, after a bit of a break we got to the Rally site ok.
Brian got his hands dirty so i took pics instead
here's Trev sporting the latest "must have" support socks and the longest shorts i've seen, cool man
the site was now filling up nicely
previous rideouts have been marshalled. this time everyone was given a map and asked to leave in small groups. i decided not to look at the map and followed a group just leaving at the official rideout time. due to a tractor and trailer in the wrong place at the wrong time 3 of us were on our own with no idea were the hell we were
we looked at the map and pieced it together as best we could and set off, after a few more miles we got caught in a downpour but found the pub, but no one else was there. after at least 30 mins some turned up from the original group, they had been following some who were not actually doing the rideout
rideout destination, the Four All's Canalside Pub in Welford on Avon
with the aid of club mate Stevie's satnav on his phone we found a nice route back to base.
luckily for Brian and i Stevie rode back with us and we needed his help when Brian had a rear wheel puncture in Chipping Norton and i used my new daytime running lights to warn oncoming traffic
rest of homeward journey ok
thanks to the LCGB committee and all the working members and the staff at the rally site for another ace event
