A trip to the Lakes

Postby SILGP » Wed Dec 27, 2017 11:03 am

This is a short vid my mate made of our trip to the Lakes in September. Same weekend as the Cartmel rally - We couldn't get tickets to the official rally so camped at a site in Grange over sands.
Hope you enjoy it.

Really good, thanks for sharing.

Don't fully comprehend your comment:

The members event wasn't a sell out by any means, and the ticket application was included in Jetset in plenty of time?

Were any members of your group not LCGB current members then?

I think we'd left it too late to apply Toot, that's all, but I'm sure I remember reading on here somewhere that they'd all gone . Could be wrong.

We went up on the Friday Nudger, had a few beers then on Saturday rode around Windermere, more beer then home on Sunday - it was a fantastic weekend despite not been on the site at Carmel. If there's a next time, we'll be quicker off the mark for the tickets.

Nice vid and sometimes trips like these, just a few mates away for a few days can be as much or even more fun that organised rallies 8-)
