A link to our club rally to Ypres earlier in the year. It was an excellent time, and I know all of you who go to this will enjoy the experience.

Well what a weekend that was: great company, lots to do and Lambrettas buzzing all over the countryside visiting battlefields and cemeteries.
I've never seen so many LCGB members in a museum all at one time either! Everyone I spoke to found it a very moving experience and it certainly beats sitting on your backside in a pub all day.
Toasted Kev and other absent friends with a glass of local Belgium beer.

Many thanks to the person who had the idea of this trip and more of the same please in 2019!

Have to agree, great weekend and so much to see & do. Spent most of Saturday riding around the countryside visiting places I missed on a previous visit and revisiting a few others. Looking at before and after pictures of Ypres and all those cemeteries show the scale of it all. Menin Gate at 8pm is always touching along with the respect shown. Again my kind of rally with plenty of riding and plenty to do. Well done and thanks to all who made this happen.

A great weekend.

Lots to see and do, and lots to think about too. The German war grave at Langemark had 44,000 bodies in it, yet it was only 2 acres in size. Many were just students, who died alongside their professors. It was all very moving.

Thanks to the organisers. Thanks for the good weather too.
