Did any other members ride down to Beat Sugar 11 in Amiens?
Was that raining; or was that raining ??!!

Probably the worst weather there and back I have ever ridden my scooter in, in all my days !

Yeah rode down on the Friday and back on Sunday. The rain was bad during a couple of lengthy showers, riding down and when we set off to ride back, but nothing compared to the rain coming back from Modra last year or the snow coming back from Yarmouth in 2008!!

Told my missus I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than do that again. Mate came round last night and asked if I was going again next year and I said " yes probably". Her reaction xxxxx !!!
I came off Friday and I heard 5 scooterists came off on Saturday on the rideout.

That was one wet weekend. We spent over 3 hours in the entrance to a supermarket changing a head gasket and removing a piece of gravel from a reed block that had jammed a petal open after running up the freshly gravelled road. Half of our party of 16 stayed in a motel (pod!). Those who were camping struggled to get their bedding dry.
I had 2 piles of clothes: soaking wet and quite wet. Changed into the quite wet clothes and then flushed the loo in the integral loo/shower pod like enclosure but sadly it was not the toilet flush but the shower handle. Just stood there getting wet again and couldn't quite understand why !
Glad to hear you were all OK.
