Sorry to ask and put more work on the LCGB but with ferry prices looking like a deal breaker for some, it might be worth looking at.

Hi Mick

This was discussed at the LCGB Committee Meeting last night.

We have had similar requests in the past, however it would require the LCGB to pre-book a certain number of cabins/scooter spaces on specific ferry crossings and pay in advance, which is something that the Committee consider to be too much of a gamble with member's money.

If memory serves me right, the YSA had a committee member working for the Ferry company, and this is why/how they managed to get themselves a group discount on the North Sea Crossings?

A lot of regular Euro travelers uses the likes of Nutt Travel (Belfast) to book ferry sailings, we've used them for years and always got a really good deal compared to the online price direct from the ferry company themselves.

As ever, it's also worth shopping around on the comparison websites for Ferry bookings.

Cheers

Toot
