Hi Shane - thank you......cables routed nicely and seem ok ... I want to try a longer shock 310mm. Not sure whether this will have a positive or negative effect on the carb/ tank / toolbox clearance..... Been trying to think about it but it made my head hurt so i'll just fit and see...
It's been a fun project and I'm really looking forward to riding it. ....and yes I'm chuffed! :P

Hey up whats up with the pipe? only asking as i had mine done by zirctech £180 with postage and as jjet its not been on the road i am hoping for a long lasting coating although have been told of an 8% increase in power, although the engine has not been used by me but i have seen a video of its 1st ride and it has been raced abroad ( thats another story )
Cheers Shane.

Hi Shane

The NK race delivers top end power (I'm told by some very experienced scooterists) and I'm after a smoother delivery, lower down.

Nothing at all wrong with it - It looks amazing coated - hopefully it will sell otherwise I'm left with an expensive garage wall sculpture!

Engine back today so hopefully running at the weekend!

Hi Not going to Cleethorpes.
This scoot needs an MOT then registering...
Change of plan, keeping the NK for now, will see if its OK or not, If not ill change it and seek this forums advise !

Swapped the drops for standard headset. Personally I like it better like this - soooooo glad I got them painted at the same time as the rest of the scoot!

Just spotted this on the bay. Lovely looking sx. What sort of seat is that? Fancy one for my sx186 ;)

Thank you

It's a short Dante from Rimini. The long one obscures the badge and I thought it looked out of proportion.

It's quite comfortable too...

So 5 years after fully restoring and selling this SX it turns up as a prize in an Aspire Auction!!! I entered but didnt win.

Judging by the condition of the scooter in the comp photos I think it was hardly ridden . The last owner added the side panel hole and speedo.

I really liked this scooter and like most of my scoots, now regret selling it - I did so to make way for the next project.

I hope the lucky winner enjoys and rides it!

If the new owner  is a LCGB member please contact me and I will dig out dynos (25HP & 20Lb torque @6750) and restopics.
