Hi and thanks for words of encouragement. I'll defo need it for group 4 this year. The group has thinned out abit and left the hardcore of racers for me to contend against. Quite a few have moved groups so unless some new riders come into the group I'll definitely have my work cut out for this year ! :?

Here's my sponser logo for this year ! I'm hoping to get some a little bigger. I'm told there getting made up.

Here's James and myself showing our silver where at the agm. James getting 2nd place in group 4 2015. What a massive achievement. Well done mate !

This is the next upgrade. A lot of the riders won't ride without one of these radial mastercylinders. I had an off at croft down to locking the front wheel. Apprently this makes braking a lot less aggressive.

Dax,
Are you willing to share product info for the recent upgrades you've done, steering damper, fork bobbins and that master cylinder?

Yeah I did notice that !

Couple of more things I've done this week. Last race at cadwell bike was jumping out of 4th gear. Gearbox stripped.

Bearing in mind this selector had only done 2 meetings.

I recall doing around 8000m on my ts motor. The selector never ended up like that.

New one fitted.

Another little tweak to gain 1 or 2hp is to insulate your tank. Keeping your fuel cool. Straight from the beer cooler :D

A right pain to do. It dosen't look great , but if I can squeeze a couple of hp then it will be worth it.

Gearbox refitted to !

Daz, it's for the road. But please also explain the relevance.

It's highly unlikely you could use a steering damper , well this configuration anyway on the road. The issue behind this is lack of steering. On a race bike we have stops fitted so in the event of a crash Minamel damage will accur. The steering damper just has clearance at each end of it's travel. Without the stops fitted the damper would be the only thing stopping you getting a full steer. It probably wouldn't last long in this sinareo. So unless you want hardley any steering for the road this is a no go.
The master cylinder , the only issue I can see is the loss of your light switch housing. This setup clamps straight around the bars. A light switch housing could easily be modified to take the mastercylinder with some ally welding and filling. Some would defo be easier to do than others. Can advise if you need to.

The crash bobbins are just knocked up by somebody I know on a lathe. He does these as a set with new stainless bolts. He'll defo sell you a set if you like. Pm me of interested I'll give you his no. There £50 a pair.

I'll take a couple of pics and post in a couple of days. Showing steering restrictions and mastercylinder.

Well with Mallory getting ever closer I thought I'd post to update what I've been upto. 1st up a new piston fitted just to see if performance can be lifted. The bike will be dynoed.

Also finally got the brembo fitted and bled up. Have to say this was the easiest master cylinder I have ever bled. Hopefully it will give the feel I'm hoping for.

This is the end result for this years season. Hopefully it will serve me well.

Great to see these two fine fella`s @ Mallory Park pre season practice day today.....
Some nice new paintwork and engine upgrades on display, very chilly day, but top company and banter made the 300 mile round trip well worth it.....

James Lancaster`s Production class bike looks very tidy, Daz`s Orange, white & MUD coloured group 4 was flying again... a joy to watch and cheer on..

Best of luck for the season ahead lads..

Hi Toddy.
All in all Mallory went well. Yes I had a little grass tracking , surfing but that was only one session. Also had a stretched throttle cable. Once these problems were addressed I was going quite well. I had a few positive comments people saying you were going well. So if other people seen it and I felt it an improvement must have been made. The biggest advantage is I've been on that track before.
