Had a go on the back of this as a lad probably 82ish in its original paint
Seem to remember it had a dodgy coil on from new as did a few
If you look at the eBay photos you can see the original paint where it's chipped near the back light area
Hard to believe they painted over the Indian paintwork

Collected up These and they are going off to be stripped and mirror polished

Old 80s Seat base I've found and welded up... Just trying to organise a recover in gold metalflake at the mo!
Image

I'm picking up some forks tonight! And then these are going to be re chromed with forks...
Image

Couple of other bits iv got for her (stainless bridge and splash)
Image

Managed to find an 80s ott fresco to!... But again needs some welding and rechroming

Image

As for the engine- I had some Indian 200 casings that needed work so they are at the tig welders at the mo and should be done by now.... I've got pretty much all the engine internals so when they come back o should be able to get on with building the engine at lest...

Oh and I ordered these last night!

So doesn't look like much at the moment but I'm getting there!....

So ... not much happening really ... Still collecting parts ( it was just a bare frame and bodywork after all) and waiting for chrome and polished bits to come back, but just thought I'd post pics so you didn't think I'd put it to the back of the shed and forgot about it!

The only chrome to come back so far- nos sil kickstart (cheers bruceski!)and an jet chaincase ( this was on a local legend custom scooter in the 80s then on my own 'custom' li special in mid 80s)( engine will be a sil gp200 with api li150 internals/gp200 gbox and sprockets)

Polishing done

After years of owning custom chromed up lammys I've learnt the hard way that it just doesn't last on rear rims and hubs so I've opted to go for mirror polished hub and stainless rims.....400x10 contis btw !

Just placed a few bits together for ascetics!!, brown bubble grips as per orig bla

Seeing all that chrome reminds me of building my scooters in the 80's; in my bedroom, much to my parents delight!
I'll see if I can find the photos and then stick them on here!
Looking good mate!

Was going to post some pics next week when I get the last bit of chrome back but as your asking! :) ...

I wanted a orig mid production ott fresco (86-88 ish) but they are getting REALLY hard to find in good condition ( the cut and welded up from new by Af ones- but with the much bigger end can) I had to settle for one that needed work... Ended up cutting it in half and beating the bents out of it and rewelding, cutting brackets off it and making new etc)
