I usually like standard colours for s1 and 2 but I shall make an exception to this ,in your case :-) please keep us posted.

It's just blue. No other colours. The theme can be very loosely attributed to a 1958 Corvette 283. The Framebreather being a 58 and the motor being a Pro Porting 283cc that I have been running all year in my Spanish S2. I'll swap it over when it's finished and put my 225 back in the S2. The idea came along when I got the engine from Harry and he supplied some chromed 283 badges with it. So I am having decals made up to compliment it. Something along the lines of this.

I hope mine looks as good as that in 10 years time. It's amazing how many similar blue scooters I have seen since I posted the pics up. Must be a good choice then. I think it shows the curves of the S1 very well and to be honest it was going to have a matte clear coat originally (a twist taken from the streetrod/muscle car scene) although when it was done I changed my mind. The lad who painted agreed so flatted it back re lacquered it.
The jet tool box door is a trial and I like it. The battery will sit behind there. I do have the original but there is going to be an inline spare on this so may just leave it where it is. Cheers for all the comments. Hopefully get time to start building it up soon.

Nice colour bud,mine still looks good but a bit tired now,love it when the sun hits it
Capt when i see her in all her glory it makes me wonder why i was thinking of selling her the other week :shock:

Not posted on this for a while. In between doing some rallies and scooters on the mount I have tried to get this something like together. I aim to use it for Mull so will try and get it done before the Euro and have sometime inbetween to make sure it does what it's meant to do. Body work just placed on to see how it looks. Playing with mudguards at the moment...
