Clubman C Racer fisrt start up

Postby Mag » Fri Jan 29, 2016 8:23 pm

Video is from last year, but it's still impressive that this is the first time Rob tries to start it after the build

Nice to see something different. Great sound too. I'd love to hear it on full chat on a drive by.

Thank you very much chaps for your kind comments.
I have ridden it a few times up & down my test road and it looks promising performance wise, I still don't know yet if it will be a practical machine for occasional use. It does sound very nice when I open it up though and I am VERY pleased with the way it looks.
Thanks again.
Rob.

Why haven't you crashed it yet, then?

What about your reputation?

Still, I can hardly talk. But most of my damage was to my body....

That's a lovely job, Rob.

Superb 8-) Great to see another open frame, by far the best looking of anything produced by Innocenti..

Sorry, nothing to report on the C racer due to my enforced year off last year, (another broken leg for those who didn't know). I'm just about to fit new petrol taps as the original ones leaked when I switched them on. I took it to the VMSC show at the beginning of the month. It failed to attract the judges attention, but I got some lovely compliments from fellow exhibitors which was even better than a trophy for me.
I'll be doing some test rides in the next week or so as I would like to use it on some riding events if it works as well as I hope.
Thanks to you all for the kind comments. I'll try and get a bit of video of a drive by soon.
Rob.
