went to breighton ferry 2017, just for the day, got the beast on the dyno, ive not altered anything on the engine since last year, but darrell got 55.5 bhp at the back wheel, i guess the mileage ive done this year has loosened it up a bit, well pleased.

Impressive stuff, what drove you to do this?
Engineering challenge, need for speed, etc..
I’m genuinely interested as it pains me
To do a bog std rebuild , I couldn’t even

thanks gizmo, had another trouble free outing, although it wouldnt start when it came to going home, i had to get a push start, this has happened before , i think its the heat build up from the engine boiling the fuel in the carbs until they are empty, i have 2 vacuum taps fitted and they only put a tiny bit of fuel in when its kicked off, its one of the things i intend to look at over the winter.

hi swissdean, the inspiration was twisting the crank on my rb250 going to scarborough a few years ago and deciding i wanted something that would be harder to break, ironic as i have broken the lc engine once, it was also the pure challenge of could i build one myself, not a job to take lightly, and need for speed, yes, but i can only ride it hard on my own nobody can keep up with me, i did look at a lot of the past projects on lambretta innovations website for ideas, its an on going project as are most bike engined scooters, thanks for the positive feedback,
