I admire this build & your dedication to achieving your vision.

I must confess to have never been the type to dress up a Lambretta, but I can see & understand the attraction. We all have differing opinions on aesthetics.

However, I may not be alone in never realising the rareness, or desirability of the Raydyot lights you have fitted. I had always presumed that Carello (especially the ‘Half-Moon’), Cibies or Marchals would be the lamps of choice especially as you are on the Continent.

Over here, I would imagine we gravitate to Lucas or Wipac.

It just shows my ignorance, I’m afraid! :?

My first idea was to put the halfmoon carello (I have 2 pairs). But it was not beautiful in my opinion.

So I though the white and blue raydyot will match the color scheme of the scooter.

Especially as their round shape reminds the circular front light of the S1.

But as you said, each to his own taste...!

I agree entirely with “beauty in the eye of the beholder” & my comment was really to stress my limited knowledge of lamps, specifically Raydyot.

I also think the area that you’ve fitted the lamps is a good choice & the Carello ‘Half-Moon’ would not best suit that profile.

So, because it got me thinking, I’ve learnt by trawling t’internet that there are some Wipac lamps that everybody must have known about except me!

I never knew there was such diversity for supplementary lamps.......

The makings of a great tourer, no need for extra luggage strapped on, just load and go. Thats got to be one of the best restorations ive seen on here for a long while, attention to detail is what its about and you have it right there..

I know very little about the 'bling' side, but that scooter is too good!

The bolts through the fork pivots are temporary, I take it?
