Get the bits you need, get it running, registered, MOT'd, add petrol, oil, ride and enjoy- looks pretty decent to me

Sorry to be slow in uploading pics but here she is after all the usual work:- new piston, barrell, head, clutch, oil seal, flywheel re-magnetised,cables,bulbs,stud work, brakes, new seat & loads more. Now been on the road since around March last year and has 1000 miles on the clock never missed a beat in standard form 125 Special. Only non-standard items are fast flow fuel tap & AF Rayspeed 42mm clubman exhaust.
Most of the work done by my mate 'Ash' who deserves all the credit. I know she's the wrong colour courtesy of an Italian gentleman in a previous life and also right footboard had some Italian surgery!!

Well done! :D

I meant to ask sooner, but that rear light (with it's non-red reflector portion) is unusual & obviously MOT compliant. Did you inherit it with the rest of the bike?

Very tidy. I would be proud it own and ride it, so I trust you are too.

BTW, is that rear rack mounted too far back? Should it be one fixing hole further forward?

What a lovely Scooter.
As far as the rear rack mounting is concerned I have mine mounted as yours is. More room for the pillion but does look better further forward.
I would however change the wing nuts for nylocs.
