Following advice from fellow members I finally got round to moving rear rack forward....Moved it but seat won't engage the catch...The rack is about 2cms too narrow and seat rests on the two side tubes....Suspect the rack is a bad one? Any thoughts on this.?

Try it with the rack under the seat catch plate

Just measured the internal width of the rack where the cross piece is = 183mm.....How does this compare with other members racks?

I don't know the answer to your question.Looking at the fitted position of your rack(with your dual seat). Any pillion passenger would be leaning very far back.Possibly affecting the stability of the scooter.I,m wondering therefore if the rack has been made to be fitted with single seats?

Solved the rear rack/seat problem....Put spacers under rear of seat catch plate & slightly enlarged the seat retaining peg hole on catch plate...
