The colour scheme is excellent, the purple and green really set off the white ......best socks I've seen in ages, where are they from? ;)

VERY nice & definitely stands out from the crowd (for a good reason).
Is there any story behind the racing number? Just wondered....

Superb Paul....really proud to have put her back on the road, then to see the new guise. I knew that Jarv had done some work on it as I sold the 175 to a Wymondham lad and he said that he had seen it being worked on. Well done - enjoy! - Keith

Very nice indeed. Don't normally like tri-colour scoots but works very well.

Just changed my inline spare wheel holder from the Cuppini style to the one you have here, as the Cuppini one which was made out of sheet plate and kept vibrating and snapping.
having just fitted my one like yours I note the same issue you have is that the two half clamps come together and don't meets any bolt holes if you want the wheel mounted as yours with the spare holes at 3/6/9/12 o clock to mount an oil can holder.
When the clamps come together like this they don't even catch the wheel rim as it is scalloped. So what exactly is clamping your wheel or is it just wedged between the holder and the toolbox door.
I only have a 3.00x10 tyre and its a squeeze with the tyre wedged against the toolbox door, at least there was a small gap at the toolbox with the Cuppini style.
Can you send me some close up pictures of the clamp and the toolbox?
cheers Paul

Hello mate
I have an original hinged swing out type carrier, dunno if this is the same you have or not but the tyre 3.00x10 fully inflated sits tight against the tool box door and doesn't move in the carrier at all.
I have the clamps done right up and it seems to work fine

Do your clamps touch the wheel rim or not?
Attached is a picture of mine when I put the spare bolt holes at 3/6/9/12 o clock positions?
My spare is just jammed between the rack and the toolbox door and isn't being held by the clamps.

I've seen pictures on here where the clamp actually uses one of the spare holes, but that makes it difficult to fit an oil tank holder as all the holes are then not in good places and you definitely need a scooped toolbox door.

Hello mate

the clamps touch the wheel rim yes, where they bend inwards before they bend upwards for the fixing bolt. if I was to grab the wheel and pulled it upwards it wouldn't move. Yours looks like there is a considerable gap between the clamp and the wheel and the fixing area looks different to mine to

I will try and get some pictures tonight (time permitting)

With regards the recessed tool box door, you would only need this if you had a fully inflated 3.50 x 10 tyre fitted

cheers

Such a great looking Scooter and (I'm sure) well worth the ball ache in the end!

I'm interested to hear your views on that Seat? is it as comfortable as it looks?
